THE Bangladesh Divided Families Campaign (BDFC) was founded in April 1982 by a group of Bangladeshi men settled in the Oldham area, whose wives and children have been struggling, in some cases for over ten years, to exercise their legal rights under the 1971 Immigration Act to come to Britain.
